 fishery  is an   industry   devoted   to the  catching  , processing  or selling  of fish  shellfish or other aquatic animals (prawn, crab, lobster, etc.) some of the  freshwater  fishes  which  are very common   include  fishes − Catla and Rohu and common carp. Some of the marine  that are  include Edible Marine fishes − Hilsa, pomfrets,  mackerel and sardines .aquaculture and pisciculture are the technologies to commercially rear fishes.

These fisheries industry is booming in our country and ‘Blue Revolution’ is on the verge of being implemented. And this the  brought of lot of  income  to the our country.
